Leah Miller joined the Carson team in August 2018, excited to pursue her passion for event planning.
Leah was born and raised in Minnesota where she fully embraced the “Land of 10,000 Lakes” and spent much of her time out on the water with friends and family. Her family moved to Utah while she was a teenager and her eyes were opened to a whole new world of outdoor adventure in the mountains.
Leah received degrees in Communications, Sociology and Spanish from Westminster College. During her time there she was one of the founding members of the GriffinQuest Leadership cohort where she put her event planning skills to work and helped to organize multiple large events and seminars that brought in guests from all over the country.
After graduating, Leah interned for Rio Tinto Kennecott where she was a member of the small team that lead communications and event planning on a local and global level. She moved on to work for HDR Engineering as a Strategic Communications Coordinator where she focused on social media and public involvement.
Leah now lives in Santa Barbara, California where her love for the mountains and the water find a perfect pairing. In her free time, Leah loves to spend time at the beach, hiking, snowshoeing and doing whatever she can outdoors with her fur baby, Harley – a Pembroke Welsh Corgi.
