Carson International Announces
2010 Show Dog Championship Series,
Marks 10th Anniversary of Producing Conformation Shows

(Ketchum, ID) – June 29, 2010 – Carson International, Inc. announced today that the 2010 Show Dog Championship will be staged and produced from the Oklahoma City Summer Classic Dog Show, to be held from July 1-4 at the Cox Convention Center in downtown Oklahoma City. Two 60-minute television specials will be produced from the all-breed show on Saturday, July 3 for national television distribution.

2010 marks the 5th consecutive year of producing the shows from the Oklahoma City event, and the 10th year overall for Carson International of televising “Best-In-Show” conformation dog shows. “We are very gratified to achieve this milestone,” noted Paul Carson, CEO of Carson International. “Our partners at the Oklahoma City Cluster have been great to work with the past five years, and we are quite pleased to continue our strong relationships with Purina and the AKC on these events.”

Since its inception in 2001, the Show Dog Championship series has been presented by Nestlé Purina PetCare® and sanctioned by the American Kennel Club. In addition, the Oklahoma City Convention & Visitors Bureau has supported the Oklahoma City television shows for all five years.

The two 60-minute television shows in 2010 will air nationwide on local network affiliates in most U.S. television markets. In Oklahoma City, the shows will air on KOKH-TV Fox 25 on August 15 at 12:00 Noon CST and August 22 at 12:00 Noon CST. The Show Dog Championship is owned and managed by Carson International, Inc., national leaders in televised dog programming. Tampa Digital Studios directs and produces the programs in conjunction with Carson International. Veteran broadcaster John Nicholson and long-time dog show analyst Lee Arnold return to host the shows in 2010. Carson also stages and produces The National Dog Show, Presented by Purina® with NBC Sports. This annual special airs nationally on NBC on Thanksgiving Day
