“ESPN SHOW DOG CHAMPIONSHIP” PREMIERS THIS WEEKEND ON ESPN

(Ketchum, ID) – Carson International, Inc., a national leader in dog show productions, along with Tampa Digital Studios of Tampa, FL, proudly announce the television broadcast premier of the “ESPN Show Dog Championship” series on Sunday, December 9th at 2:30 PM Eastern on ESPN.

The “ESPN Show Dog Championship” is a 2-show series of American Kennel Club-sanctioned conformation (“Best-In-Show”) dog shows. The first of the two television specials was filmed at the Oklahoma City Summer Classic Dog Show, which is hosted by the Oklahoma City Kennel Club and the Mid-Del-Tinker Kennel Club. The second telecast was filmed at the Capital City Cluster Dog Show in Topeka, Kansas, and hosted by the Topeka Kennel Club and Manhattan Kansas Kennel Club.

Each 90-minute telecast will be shown nationwide three times each on either ESPN or ESPN 2 in December. The series is once again presented by Nestlé Purina PetCare’s “Pro Plan” brand, which has supported the series all five years of its existence. Also returning as hosts of the broadcasts are both John Nicholson and expert dog show analyst Lee Arnold. ESPN is currently available in approximately 92 million of the nation’s 109 million television households. The air date schedule (subject to change) for the series is:
